For Guy and Merinda, builder and project manager respectively, designing and planning the ideal wedding could’ve proven difficult. And as intrepid travellers, sourcing the ideal wedding location could’ve also proven impossible. It wasn’t – Ooralba was perfect.

The brief from the bride and groom included a private, casually elegant event in a uniquely Australian setting with 30 family and friends, canapes and champagne. Having spent fifteen glorious fun filled years together already, Guy and Merinda wanted to celebrate their sixteenth year together and first days as husband and wife in an idyllic fashion; the location, house, the gardens and the team at Ooralba created a wedding weekend that was ‘en pointe’.
… life is pretty sweet and so is marrying at Ooralba.
LIFE IS PRETTY SWEET
From our intrepid travelling bride Merinda:
“Our love of travel has led us to places near and far and has played a significant part in where Guy would propose (Freycinet National Park in Tasmania), where we would eventually marry (Kangaroo Valley) and eventually honeymoon (Uluru, NT). We also value greatly our very close group of friends and family and combined with our love of travel and the outdoors – life is pretty sweet and so is marrying at Ooralba.”
